City Affiliation has become a massive part of NBA 2K22 MyCAREER. There are four City Affiliations, and you will be placed in one of these Affiliations at the start of your career. You may or may not like your Affiliation and might want to change it. In this guide, I will show you how you can join and change City Affiliation in NBA 2K22.

How to Join an Affiliation in The City?

Here's how to join an affiliation in The City:

1). You'll be limited in where you may play games when you first arrive in The City.
2). Once you've earned Player Rep, more spots will become accessible to you.
3). Raise your Player Rep to Pro 1 in NBA 2K22 to leave Rookieville and join an Affiliation.
4). There are four different affiliations that you can join in The City:
     • Western Wildcats
     • Beasts of the East
     • Northside Knights
     • South City Vipers

Please keep in mind that you will be able to change your affiliation.

How to Change Your City Affiliation?

Here, I will show you how you can change your Affiliation in NBA 2K22:

1). To change affiliations, head over to the City Hall of the faction that you want to join.
2). They will all be marked clearly on your map.
3). Speak to the guards there and select Affiliation Transfer Request. 
4). From the menu that pops up, players can choose the new affiliation they want to join.
5). When you confirm transfer Affiliations, it will ask you for two options.
6). One will be to Stay Loyal to your current City Affiliation and Submit a Transfer Request.
7). Select the second option to transfer City Affiliations.
8). The City Hall you're currently at will allow you to transfer to it; if you change your mind, you can back out or visit another Affiliations City Hall.
9). From there, you'll become a member of whichever Affiliation you choose, and you'll be able to roam around The City as part of your new faction while accessing their affiliation-themed courts.

Things To Bear in Mind while changing City Affiliations

1). Change City Affiliations will reset all progress concerning the previous affiliation. This means that your Rep will return to Pro 1 level, so think carefully before switching.
2). NBA 2K22 has introduced Seasons; in each Season, you are allowed to change Affiliations once and only in the first seven days of the Season with no penalties. After that, you'll have to wait until the start of the new Season. Also, each new Season is 40 days long, so make the right choice.
