NBA 2K21 MyTEAM Season 3 Brings Shaq Challenge and 12 Days of Giving

The NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 3 has arrived, bringing tons of new players, challenges, rewards, and more. Here's what to expect with Season 3 of MyTeam.

NBA 2K21 MyTEAM Season 3 Brings tons of New Content

NBA 2K21 MyTEAM Season 3 brings an array of new content for players, including:

1. A new level 40 prize: Galaxy Opal Dwyane Wade. There will be 45 total levels this season, with extra prizes through levels 41-45;

2. New Triple Threat and 5v5 'Spotlight Challenges' with current and former NBA stars;

3. New 'Shaq Signature Challenge' puts players in the 2000 Los Angeles Lakers vs Portland Trail Blazers Western Conference Finals, with a grand prize HOF Badge inspired by Shaq and Diamond Shoe;

4. New 'Season of Giving' packs featuring Pink Diamond Headliners in each pack. Collect all the headliners to earn Galaxy Opal Wilt Chamberlain;

5. New Galaxy Opal Baron Davis reward after completing select events and challenges;

6. MyTEAM Black Friday deals, 12 Days of Giving leading into the NBA Season Restart on December 22, deals, and more.

NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 3 to feature Shaq Challenge, Galaxy Opal Rewards

NBA 2K21 MyTeam Season 3 features a new Shaquille O'Neal Signature Challenge. With the challenge, fans have to recreate the iconic alley-oop he received from the late great Kobe Bryant back in the 2000 Western Conference Finals. Defeating the challenge will earn a Hall of Fame Badge along with a Diamond Shoe.

There's also a Locker Code, it's "BRYANT-TO-SHAQ", fans get the Shaquille O'Neal card.

What else is available or coming soon for MyTeam Season 3. That includes the latest Galaxy Opal cards as rewards. There's already a Dwyane Wade Galaxy Opal, and now they've unveiled Baron Davis as the second GO card for the new season. Also, Wilt Chamberlain was announced as a Season Collection Complete reward, with the other yet to be named.

12 Days of Giving and MyTeam Festival

A few other interesting notes arrived regarding "12 Days of Giving" and a MyTeam Festival. Both capture the holiday spirit with lots of freebies and rewards available (such as NBA 2k21 mt, vc, tokens, cards, and etc).

The 12 Days of Giving will be a countdown to lead up to the NBA 2020-21 season which tips off December 22. Gamers will have a chance to receive rare players, and get guaranteed Ornament Balls during this time.

Last but not least, Sunday, November 29, brings a MyTeam Festival. During this time, all of the previously-released packs for MyTeam will be available at some point throughout the weekend.

MyTeam gamers will get Token Blitz throughout the Festival weekend too. So that means every win in MyTeam brings an increase in Tokens. There will also be two new packs available just for the weekend in the Token Market. They've indicated a MyTeam Festival Starter Pack can be had for just a few Tokens.
