It has been a while since 2K Games released patch notes for "NBA 2K20" players. This week, the new update for NBA 2K20 brings the new patch 11 across all platforms. But, the new patch 11 update doesn't bring any new game feature, developers targeted bugs and issues which were reported by the community. It fixed issues concerning the MyPlayer and the MyTeam. Alley-oop dunk issue fixed

The first item listed on the NBA 2K20 patch 11 notes is fixing the "alley-oop dunk" capability of selected MyPlayer accounts. For some reason, the created character sometimes wouldn't dunk the ball after initiating or receiving an alley-oops despite having the necessary rating to do so.

This may be related to a Reddit post from five months ago, wherein players were exchanging similar experiences with the same alley-oop dunk issue, regardless of their player position.

Other Reddit users confirm that the inability to do an alley-oop dunk was a bug. "I've posted to a 2k request forum on Reddit and it made it to their fix request list," one user commented.

"Hopefully this gets fixed, because it is beyond frustrating to see people with lower dunk ratings then me catching and dunking alley-oops," the user added.

Indeed enough, 2K Sports fixed it. The same Reddit thread actually had recent comments after the update, informing all other players to check out their games as the alley-oop dunk was finally fixed.

MyTeam issues also fixed

Among four of the updates, three of them were to fix bugs in MyTeam. The issues were:

• Restricting the desired accessory colors from appearing in-game for created/customized assets.
• The ball would drop unnecessarily slow for some users when utilizing the ball drop mechanic.
• Reported Collector Level would reset to zero after performing a bulk sales of cards.

For one, an issue that restricted gamers from using their chosen accessory colors have been fixed.

Players also experienced an issue that caused the ball to drop unusually slow when they enable the ball drop mechanic. Another bug, though developers say it was "rare", brought annoyance to come MyTEAM players when their Collector Level randomly got reset to zero after bulk sales of cards. Both issues should be resolved in Patch 11.

'NBA 2K20' issues: Did Patch 11 cause issues in the arena?

Stadiums are some of the most important aspects of "NBA 2K20" for players to get that ultimate NBA simulation experience. However, a number of gamers have reported experiencing issues in their chosen arenas after they installed Patch 11 that went life earlier this week.

Several people commented in the official Facebook post for Patch 11 complaining about issues encountered on in-game stadiums, particularly in the audio features. It also appears that the nature of the issue is different in various cases. One player reported hearing "four different sounds and chants" simultaneously while playing in the "NBA 2K20" version of Pepsi Center, home of the Denver Nuggets.

Most of the players experiencing issues in-arena sound also confirm they hear random background music when a player is shooting a free throw. In one "NBA 2K20" player's case, the home crowd was said to be chanting "Defense!" even though their team has ball possession. Another person confirmed experiencing the same issue in a separate comment.

Judging from the number of "NBA 2K20" gamers agreeing with comments about the matter, it appears like it is shaping up to be a widespread gameplay issue. Developers have yet to address the reported bug on arena sounds. However, I believe that 2K Sports and its developers will be able to solve this problem soon.
